Editorial & Sourcing Policy
Element Folio aims to publish useful, original technical explanations with clear sourcing. AI may assist with research monitoring, classification, drafting and editing, but it is not treated as an authority.
Source priorities
For scientific and technical claims, we prioritize peer-reviewed journals, original papers, DOI records, universities, national laboratories, standards organizations, government research bodies and primary manufacturer or project documentation where appropriate.
How we handle new developments
News and research updates should distinguish demonstrated results from forecasts, commercial claims and early-stage laboratory findings. Articles should explain significance, potential applications, development stage and known limitations whenever the source material allows.
AI-assisted publishing
Automation may surface relevant developments and prepare working drafts. We do not intend to mass-republish copied or lightly rewritten source material. Element Folio articles should add context, interpretation, structure and links back to original sources.
Commercial content
Sponsored, affiliate or product-related content will be identified when applicable. Educational ERP and automation articles may reference relevant software examples, but technical explanations should remain useful independently of any product promotion.
